Back in January 2019 Carparison started with a small team of 4 and big ambitions. A year on, and with a team of fourteen and counting, we’re over the moon with the growth that the business has experienced in such a short period of time.
In the past year we have seen a 500% uplift in sales and have travelled 100,000's of delivery miles to get new lease cars to their new drivers. We’ve also had over 11,000 video views online, and gained more than 900 new social media followers. Not bad for 12 months work. We are also immensely proud to have managed to retain an average score of 4.9 out 5 throughout the year on customer service review site, Feefo, earning us a Gold Trusted Service Award.
Our General Sales Manager, Matt, has been at the helm of the operation for the past year and has reflected back on what this year has meant for us, and our position in the broker industry.
"It was always going to be a big jump launching a new business venture, particularly in a potentially tumultuous economical landscape. So to surpass our wildest expectations for our first year is a real achievement and one we hope to replicate in year two and beyond! For me the highlight has been watching my team go from 4-14 in such a short space of time and really finding our identity.
A real turning point for us was this past August, where it just all went a bit berserk (in the best way) and we had the real realisation that ‘this’ was happening. Our ethos is built around a great and unique customer service, one that is centred on each and every customer we meet. We believe this, along with our dedication to sourcing market leading leasing deals that continue to push price expectations, paves the way for us to make a real difference for those considering a lease (and even those who haven’t yet)! We are all looking forward to another exciting year ahead, and to supporting many more happy customers finding their perfect new car, for less."

"The highlight of the year for me is also one of the most exciting prospects for the coming 12 months: our video reviews. This year the carparison team have already put the likes of the Range Rover Evoque, the Mini Cooper S, the Audi A1 and the Mercedes-Benz E-Class Saloon through their paces, to name a few. These videos have had a great reception, with feedback confirming that they, and their corresponding write ups, are useful for those who are undecided on the right model for them (and general car lovers alike!). We look forward to getting out into many more models in the next few months and hope these help more people to stumble across their perfect, new car!"
