Can I have a charger installed if I have three-phase electrical supply at my home?
Three-phase and single-phase are electricity supplies and it’s the amount of power that is different.
A single-phase supply is smaller and most domestic houses have single-phase as standard, however, some domestic properties do have three-phase supply. If you’re unsure what supply you have, the British Gas technical engineers will confirm this with you during the Virtual Home Check process.
Currently, a Hive EV charger can’t be installed in properties with a three-phase supply.
