General Sales Manager

We are looking for a passionate General Sales Manager who can be central in maintaining the premium level of service for which we’ve become known and to be a central part of building upon our unique company culture.

General Sales Manager Responsibilities:

  • Is accountable for the successful delivery of sales targets for both car and commercial.
  • Communicates in a clear and effective manner, ensuring a culture of quality and excellence is communicated.
  • Acts as a coach for the sales team conducting regular 1-2-1 reviews considering sales volume, gross profit and conversion rates.
  • Ensures sales process is followed rigorously with team leaders and Transaction manager dispersing the message to their teams.
  • Sets the daily rhythm of the sales team using regular team briefings and assisting the sales team leader in follow up process.
  • Oversees call monitoring programme to build a robust clear customer journey covering all compliance elements required.
  • Provides regular reports on the KPI’s to the General Manager and advises any remedial action surrounding the data sets.
  • Is able to analyse and interpret data to make changes in direction to drive positive outcomes and excellent sales performance.
  • Works with the General Manager in identifying opportunities to drive unique routes to market including tactical commitment deals and best endeavours.
  • Does everything with the ultimate aim of achieving the budgeted income and sales volume.
  • Works closely with the marketing manager to identify the areas where cost per lead can be reduced and conversion rate enhanced.
  • Works with Pricing Manager to identify opportunities to commit to volume.
  • Uses initiative to prioritise sale of committed stock.
  • Drives a consistent high level of maintenance penetration.
  • Ensures minimum standards and benchmarks are set and adhered to.
  • Drives consistent levels of performance within teams.

What's required from you?

  • Must be able to develop relationships with key stakeholders including suppliers and finance houses
  • Good level of computer skills including Microsoft office software (Excel and Word)
  • Must embrace the Carparison culture of customer service and transparency.
  • Will have worked in a high intensity online sales environment previously.

Salary: £30,000 per annum, plus additional £30,000 OTE bonus

Plus £62.50 insurance allowance per month, and £125 fuel allowance per month

Commercial Vehicle Leasing Consultant

Commercial Leasing Consultant Responsibilities:

  • Communicates the Carparison culture of quality and excellence
  • Deliver sales in line with the company and funder partner processes.
  • Participates in planning & working sales campaigns and promotions
  • Establish and maintain strong and loyal relationships with key business partners including funders and dealerships.
  • Communicates and develops strong personal relationships with customers creating customers for life.
  • Offers sound financial product advice, specifically on BCH, PCH, PCP and HP.
  • Uses knowledge of the competition to highlight advantages to customers
  • Uses knowledge of the industry to identify the most suitable vehicle for the customer.
  • Concludes sales in a professional manner and with the best interest of the company in a compliant manner.
  • Displays effective time management and self efficiency to manage their own diary
  • Maintain accurate information of customer database within company and legal guidelines using Salesforce.
  • Takes responsibility for their own deal administration and operates in harmony with Sales Support Team.
  • Communicates clearly and effectively with dedicated point of administration to ensure that the process runs efficiently in line with the customers’ expectations
  • Displays sound knowledge of the finance products available and also explains the benefits of each using Product Partnerships system to fully document all customer outcomes.
  • Provides the customer with contacts in other departments to support the overall customer experience
  • Reviews customer satisfaction and implements improvements
  • Communicates clearly, regularly and promptly with the customer, their line manager and colleagues
  • Identifies training and development needs as part of the performance management process

Pricing Analyst

We are currently looking for a Pricing Analyst to join our team in Hill Barton, Exeter. The working hours for this position are Monday to Friday between 08:30-18:00.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with our supplying dealers and funder partners and the publication of competitive offers.

Pricing Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Communicates in a clear and effective manner, ensuring a culture of quality and excellence is communicated.
  • Is responsible for ensuring that the website’s offers and third party sites are kept up to date with the most competitive and relevant offers.
  • Maintains supplier relationships and grow them organically through transparent and clear communication, gaining trust to secure exclusive pricing opportunities.
  • Develops mechanisms to assist with streamlining the pricing processes through complex understanding of Microsoft Excel.
  • Is able to recognise and recommend the need for shifts in process and IT development requirements to ensure processes are carried out with maximum efficiency.
  • Carries out all duties with intricate attention to detail
  • Has regular interaction with the management team and communicates clearly to discuss offerings and most viable routes to market.
  • Develops in depth understanding of the funder systems to find the most attractive market position
  • Assisting with rate book management and using them to identify best brand/model by funder.
  • Analysis of inbound dealer offers to identify competitiveness and execute web upload to publish offer as quickly as possible.
  • Housekeeping of the website to ensure that all offers advertised are accurately priced and valid to maximise chance of conversion.
  • Working with the sales team to ensure central database of deals, offers and stock information is kept fully up to date.

What's required from you?

  • Must be able to develop relationships with key stakeholders including suppliers and finance houses
  • High level of computer skills including Microsoft office software (Excel and Word)
  • Must be accurate and show attention to detail whilst working under pressure
  • Must be able to effectively manage your own workload based on team priorities
  • Will be extremely number literate with the ability to locate and execute actions surrounding competitive offers.

Salary: £22,500.00-£30,000.00 per year
