Do I get my initial payment back at the end of a car lease?
As with other car financing methods, the initial payment you contribute with a lease goes towards the total lease cost. As such, it is not returned to you at the end of your lease.
Your initial rental forms part of your lease payments and is directly linked to your monthly payment total. So, the more you pay upfront, the smaller your monthly payments will be.
