How do I arrange collection?

The funder will contact you near the end of your lease to arrange collection on a time and day that suits you – from either your home or work address.

On the day,  an engineer will come out and assess the condition of your car. They’ll be looking for any damage that goes beyond the BVRLA's Fair Wear and Tear guide and whether you've gone over your set mileage. 

You’ll be asked to sign a report once the assessment is complete, including any end of lease charges (if there are any). Though if you don’t agree with charges, you can dispute them.

Your lease car will then be taken away and you'll be free to enjoy your next venture, whether that's another lease or a car of your own.

How do I prepare for collection?

Before the funder arrives, gather everything that came with the car: Both sets of keys, the service book, and any charging cables if it's an EV.

Give the car a clean, and check it against the BVRLA's Fair Wear and Tear guide yourself first, so there are no surprises on the day.

How clean does a lease car need to be on return?

Your car doesn't need to be showroom-perfect, but it should be clean enough inside and out for the funder's assessor to properly check its condition.

A dirty car can make it harder to spot (or dispute) marks and damage, so a good valet beforehand works in your favour.
