Who is the registered keeper and owner?

In the case of Contract Hire, the finance company that funds your lease will be the registered keeper of the car.

While you, as the driver will not be the registered owner, it does mean elements like road tax and any contact with the DVLA is their responsibility and not yours.

This is different if you have chosen an Operating Lease. In this case you or your company will be the registered keeper and will have the V5C to organise vehicle tax, deal with private plates and process any road fines.

In both cases, the funder will be the registered owner because when you take out a car lease deal, you agree to have the use of a car for an agreed term length, with no option to buy at the end of your contract.
