European Rugby Champions Cup winners join Carparison

Carparison are delighted to announce the start of a brand-new partnership deal with Exeter Chiefs and their director of rugby, Rob Baxter OBE, who joins us as a brand ambassador.

As part of the agreement with Baxter, the Chiefs director of rugby this week took delivery of his sponsored Mercedes-Benz GLC 300d AMG Line Premium at Sandy Park Stadium, Exeter - home of the Chiefs. He said: “I am delighted that the team at Carparison have made me one of their brand ambassadors. It's great for me that I can work closely with such a strong local brand in helping to promote not only the Chiefs, but also their business as a whole.

“Bringing success to the city, whether it’s in sporting terms or on the business front, is incredibly important at times like this.”

Carparison’s general manager Matt Woodward spoke of his excitement about the partnership: “We’re delighted to be working with Rob Baxter and the Exeter Chiefs. Joining forces with such a strong local brand is important to us here at Carparison and we hope this is the start of a long-standing relationship.

“It’s a huge opportunity for us to have a strong working relationship with the Chiefs and will assist in the national growth aspirations of our brand. The leasing market continues to thrive during the pandemic relative to other business sectors for both the growing personal contract hire market and the well-established business contract hire sectors.”

It has been a whirlwind 18 months for Baxter, who guided his side to a historic double last season, before being named among the Queen’s New Years’ Honours List, where he was awarded an OBE. More recently, he was crowned the Rugby Writers’ Personality of the Year for 2020, picking up the much-coveted Pat Marshall Award.

Linking up with the Chiefs is another milestone moment for us here at Carparison, as we go from strength to strength in these challenging times. In the last six months alone, we were delighted to welcome no more than seven new members of staff, with no plans to slow down. Plus, the launch of our newest enterprise, www.vanparisonleasing.co.uk, is just a few weeks away.

We cannot wait to see more of the Chiefs when the new season rolls around and look forward to cheering them on at every opportunity.

Be sure to stay tuned to all our Carparison social accounts, with a range of exclusive content and interviews lined up with Rob Baxter OBE over the next 12 months.
