How much does it cost to lease a JAECOO 7?
JAECOO 7 lease deals start from £231.40 per month. The exact cost will depend on your chosen engine (1.6-litre petrol or a plug-in hybrid), trim level (Deluxe or Luxury), contract length, annual mileage, and initial rental. Most lease deals include road tax and an impressive seven-year warranty, with maintenance packages available as an optional extra to keep things simple.
What’s the difference between the petrol and plug-in hybrid JAECOO 7?
The petrol version uses a 145bhp 1.6-litre engine that’ll get you from 0-62mph in 10.3 seconds – perfectly adequate for family duties. But the plug-in hybrid (PHEV) is where things get interesting. JAECOO calls it their ‘Super Hybrid System’, and it combines a 1.5-litre engine with an electric motor for 201bhp and 0-62mph in 8.5 seconds. The real party trick? An official electric-only range of 57 miles from its 18.3kWh battery, so your daily commute could be virtually free.
What standard equipment does the JAECOO 7 come with?
Even the entry-level Deluxe is generously equipped with full LED headlights, heated and electrically adjustable front seats, panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charging, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, adaptive cruise control and a powered tailgate. The Luxury trim adds extras like a larger 14.8-inch infotainment screen (versus a 13.2-inch in Deluxe), head-up display, cooled front seats, heated rear seats and a Sony sound system. Either way, you’re getting a lot of kit for your money.
