Am I eligible to lease a vehicle?

There are a number of compulsory criteria that you will have to fulfil in order to lease a car.

All funders will have a minimum age limit for finance applications. This limit will be specific to the finance house funding the deal but can range from 17 – 21 years old. If you are unsure whether you are old enough to lease your chosen car, one of our Leasing Consultants will be happy to advise you.

Anyone intending to lease a car must hold a valid UK driving licence; this can be either a full or provisional licence (dependent on funder). You will be required to provide proof in the form of clear photocopies or photographs in order to support your finance application.

In order to lease a vehicle you must have been a UK resident for at least three years. You will be asked for three years of address history as part of your application and this will be corroborated during the credit check.

You must also be able to prove your affordability for the lease – this includes funds to cover the initial payment and a successful credit check.
