Carparison Leasing have been named the best automotive company to work for in the UK during Best Companies’ 2022 Q3 Surveys.

The Devon-based leasing broker were crowned winners during last week’s awards ceremony.

On a day of celebrations which were streamed live from Media City, Manchester and hosted by Channel 5’s news presenter Dan Walker, our success was not limited to just the automotive industry.

Carparison also ranked as the 17th best company to work for within the South West across all industries and finished 34th out of the top 100 across the UK.

The Best Companies surveys are an invaluable barometer to measure staff engagement with the whole team quizzed on topics such as their day-to-day satisfaction, development opportunities and their relationships with line and senior managers.

In our most recent survey, Carparison achieved a two-star accreditation and their highest ever total score, officially being recognised for outstanding levels of employee engagement.

Securing the top spot among all automotive participants reflects Carparison’s dedication to their staff. Speaking live about our win, Carparison’s General Sales Manager Charlotte Channing-Jones discussed the appointment of a dedicated Learning and Development Coordinator earlier in the year.

This role ensures staff new and old are kept up to date with the latest industry changes and sales techniques while ensuring the much-treasured company culture is passed on from day one.

In addition, Best Companies commended Carparison on our use of a unique new-starter questionnaire. Issued to all employees before their starting date, it includes questions like their preferred afternoon snack and favourite car, answers are circulated among the existing team. As well as providing conversation starters over that first cup of morning coffee, the scheme ensures new employees feel a sense of inclusion and value.

Carparison General Manager Matt Woodward said, "This is by far my proudest Carparison achievement to date. To accomplish such levels of success is a testament to the culture we have created across the business.

"We've always placed a huge emphasis on championing development within the team and valuing the thoughts and ideas of the people that make this the business it is day in, day out."

Carparison specialise in personal leasing and business contract hire offers, fleet management and sustainability solutions.
