Carparison start eco-conscious era for Exeter's motor trade with new office move

Carparison Leasing have reaffirmed their ambition to invest in the workplace by moving to Europe’s largest automotive centre, launching an exciting new era for the South West’s motor trade.

The newly renovated, state of the art premises are situated in the heart of Exeter’s bustling motor industry on Marsh Barton, surrounded by some of the world’s biggest manufacturers.

Carparison will continue to build on our successful online business approach, but exciting plans are in place to create a bespoke showroom that will elevate the business to new heights.

A brand-new multifunctional showroom will include a ‘business hub’ that will create endless networking opportunities with local companies, a designated ‘EV Zone’ to enhance our already-impressive electric lease deal offerings, as well as a sales area for locals to walk in on their quest for their next vehicle.

At a time where the COVID-19 pandemic has raised questions about the need for traditional bricks and mortar office space, we are committed to investing in a welcoming and high-quality environment following our ‘World Class’ categorisation for employee engagement in a 2021 Best Companies Assessment.

This expansion will create more jobs and represents an exciting chapter in the South West's longstanding automotive history, with Carparison vying to become one of the country's leading leasing brokers.

In our efforts to become an eco-friendly business, Carparison have also secured Carbon Neutral status for 2022.

A third party calculated and certified our CO2e emissions in accordance with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol (GHG). This includes measuring elements such as the volume of paper purchased for printers, the number of electronic devices bought or how many miles our employees commute to work.

To offset that, we have pledged to invest in three Carbon Offset Projects, handpicked by the Carparison team.

The first is the Plastic Bank Project, which is currently operational in Haiti, Indonesia, and the Philippines. Carparison will also invest in new cooking facilities for women in Rwanda, as well as a Hydropower project that creates emission-free energy from the currents of DR Congo’s rivers in Africa.
