We’ve found the cars that’ll keep you toasty warm this winter

Who doesn’t love a pleasantly warm seat at all times? Especially on those frosty morning commutes!

A big must-have these days, heated seats deliver luxurious comfort and offer a layer of cosiness to every drive.

You’ll be sad to hear that not many cars in the UK come with heated seats as standard (which made searching for these cars particularly difficult).

Most of the time, you’ll have to opt for a more premium trim level or pay a couple of grand for an add-on comfort package.

But if you’re not interested in paying extra for warmth and comfort, here’s the cars that come with heated seats as standard.

BYD ATTO 3

1. BYD ATTO 3

From the car manufacturer that you’ve probably never heard of, all versions of the all-electric BYD ATTO 3 come with heated front seats.

There are two levels of seat heating and the car’s voice control can even adjust the heat to what you want if you struggle to multitask.

It’s the perfect family vehicle, so it has plenty of room for the whole family. And on those cold mornings when you’re taking the kids to school, you can switch your seat on to make those drives just that little bit warmer.

But what’s more, the ATTO 3 offers just as much quality compared to some of its more established rivals.

So, it’s definitely an electric car to consider if you’re after a vehicle with an array of features available as standard.

Volkswagen ID.4

2. Volkswagen ID.4

There’s no worrying about winter if you have a Volkswagen ID.4.

Heated seats AND a heated steering wheel come as standard and trust us – you won’t ever want a car without a heated steering wheel once you’ve tried it.

They can be activated within seconds by tapping two fingers on the temperature display which is just below the touchscreen display.

There’s even a default setting that will automatically turn on the heated seats and steering wheel when you start the car if the temperature outside has dropped below a particular level.

Plus, it’s complete with ambient lighting, a farewell chime when you exit and a stylish cabin.

What more could you really want?

Mercedes-Benz CLA

3. Mercedes-Benz CLA

You can’t go wrong with a Mercedes lease.

The perfect blend of style, elegance and practicality, the Mercedes-Benz CLA is a great option and heated seats come with the standard AMG line trim.

They must be switched on manually and the seats are equipped with 3-level seat heating. There’s a timer which automatically reduces the heating output from the highest level until it reaches the lowest level, where it then automatically turns off.

The rest of the interior is pretty impressive too, offering features that you simply can’t refuse.

Like leather seats and a wrap-around design that creates a cocooned feeling and ensures the driver has everything they need within easy reach. Plus, it comes with lots of cool technology and a 10.25-inch digital instrument display.

Offering luxury and a collection of premium features, the Mercedes-Benz CLA is a compelling option for your next car lease.

Hyundai Ioniq 5

4. Hyundai Ioniq 5

Hyundai cars are known for having a good amount of standard kit - though you do pay for that privilege - so it’s no surprise the Hyundai Ioniq 5 gets heated seats with no extra cost.

All you need to do is opt for the standard ‘Premium’ trim level and you’ll be driving around with a toasty derriere.

If you want a more efficient vehicle, you can opt for a heat pump system which will improve heating and cooling performance, which makes it easier for the Ioniq 5 to drive in extreme temperatures and use the heated seats feature.

The Hyundai Ioniq 5’s exterior also has a cleaner, futuristic look so you can rest assured that you’ll not only feel good driving around with your heated seats on, but you’ll look good too.
