How practical is the BMW X4?
The BMW X4 is more practical than its coupe looks suggest, though there are some compromises. The well-shaped boot is big enough for several large suitcases, the 40/20/40 split-folding rear seats lie flat when folded, and an electric tailgate is standard across the range. Front space is generous, with plenty of useful storage cubbies. The main limitation is rear headroom - the sloping roofline means six-footers will need to slouch or sit with their heads against the ceiling, and the rear door openings are slightly narrow.
What trim levels are available on the BMW X4?
The BMW X4 is available in M Sport trim as standard, with M40i and M40d performance variants at the top of the range. Entry-level M Sport comes with leather upholstery, sat-nav, adaptive LED headlights, cruise control, automatic emergency braking, front and rear parking sensors, a reversing camera, and BMW's iDrive infotainment system as standard. The M40i and M40d add larger alloy wheels, bigger brakes, adaptive suspension, and more aggressive exterior styling.
