Smart Hashtag 5 Personal Lease Deals

Smart used to make the smalles cars on the road. Those days are gone.

The Smart #5 is a premium electric SUV that's cavernous inside, impressively well built, and comes with a standard equipment list that makes rivals look like they're cutting corners.

Electrically reclining rear seats, a panoramic sunroof, heated and electrically adjustable front seats, adaptive cruise control, a powered tailgate, and a 360-degree parking camera all come as standard before you've so much as glanced at the options list.

The Pro+ has everything you need.

A 94kWh battery, 366 miles of range (WLTP Comb), and 400kW charging that takes 10-80% in just 18 minutes.

The boot fits eight carry-on suitcases plus one in the front boot, the rear cabin makes a Mercedes S-Class feel like a reasonable comparison, and the interior quality sits comfortably above even premium rivals at a similar price.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost to lease a Smart #5?
Lease prices vary depending on trim level, contract length, and initial payment. As a guide, the cost for the Smart #5 starts at £491.87 per month.
What versions of the Smart #5 are available?
The Smart #5 is available in Pro, Pro+, Premium, Pulse, and Brabus trims. The Pro has a 74.4kWh battery, a 288-mile range (WLTP Comb), and a single rear motor. The Pro+ upgrades to a 94kWh battery, a 366-mile range (WLTP Comb), and 400kW charging. Premium adds a more luxurious interior, ventilated front seats, a head-up display, and a 20-speaker Sennheiser sound system. Pule and Brabus add four-wheel drive.
How practical is the Smart #5?
Exceptionally so. The Smart #5's rear cabin is cavernous - electrically reclining rear seats come as standard, a button in the rear slides the front passenger seat forward for limo-like legroom, and the panoramic roof floods the space with light. The 630-litre boot fits eight carry-on suitcases, with an additional 110-litre front boot for a ninth. A ski hatch alplows longer items to be loaded without folding the outer rear seats. The main limitation is the 60/40 rear seat split - it's not as flexible as rivals with a 40/20/40 split.
