Major improvements to Porsche’s best seller with more to come

Porsche have revealed a brand new facelift for the ever-popular Macan and it promises to take this brilliant SUV to a whole new level.

The German manufacturer is promising ‘increased performance, a sharper design and a new operating concept’ for their compact SUV, building on the success of the previous Macan models.

Produced alongside the Panamera and the Cayenne, the Macan shares similarities to both models and has proven to be the perfect blend for drivers wanting an SUV with true sports car performance levels.

The Macan lineup is comprised of three models, the entry-level Macan, the Macan S, which is available with a 2.9-litre V6 bi-turbo engine, as well as the range-topping Macan GTS.

Competing with the likes of the Audi Q5BMW X3, Jaguar F-Pace and the Mercedes GLC, the Macan aims to offer a luxurious driving experience.

The new Macan promises to do just that and then some with an optimised chassis and new sport air suspension. Thanks to more feedback being directed through the steering wheel to the driver, the new Macan will constantly adapt to ever-changing road conditions.

If you’re searching for something even more dynamic, the Macan GTS includes the sport air suspension, which lowers the body by 10 millimetres.

Mouth-watering high performance levels

Needing a Porsche Macan business lease for your daily commute? The new Macan is ready for any task with improved performance figures. GTS models boast sub-five second 0-62mph times and 440PS from its twin-turbo 2.9 litre V6 engine.

Meanwhile, Porsche’s brilliant dual-clutch automatic PDK gearbox comes as standard on all models.

With an electric Macan in the pipelines for the near future, Porsche will soon be able to offer a serious rival to the Jaguar I-Pace in the electric SUV market.

New Porsche Macan 2021 Interior

Technology upgrades

Porsche have taken the bold decision to do away with their array of physical buttons for a more modern and refined cockpit.

They claim that by removing the tactile buttons, the Macan’s interior now has a clearer focus. Creating a more elegant cabin, the new-look interior looks futuristic, minimalist and incredibly easy on the eye.

While some will have no doubt preferred the mixture of touchscreen and buttons, the new look brings the Macan up to date with other models within the Porsche lineup.

That decision soon pays off when you see just how well the 10.9inch touchscreen is complimented by the touch-sensitive buttons. The overall infotainment package remains one of the best in its class following the upgrades from Porsche.

Porsche Macan Papaya Metallic

Eye-catching exteriors

There are three new colours available for the new-look Macan, including Gentian Blue Metallic, Python Green and our personal favourite, Papaya Metallic.

Improved sports detailing and small changes to the car’s nose offers even more road presence to this already commanding SUV.

Despite being known for their punchy performance cars, the Macan has offered new customers a route into the Porsche range.

The Stuttgart-based manufacturer claim that 80% of those driving away in a new Macan are first-time Porsche customers. They also add that it's the most popular model in their lineup among female drivers.

Prices for a new Macan can start from £47,780, rising to £53,300 for the Macan S or £64,770 for the range-topping GTS.

Porsche lease deal through Carparison creates a cost-effective monthly payment that can help you get behind the wheel of a brand new Macan for a fraction of the price.

Porsche expects the first deliveries of the revised Macan models to begin in October, later this year.
